ROBOTS INVADE POPPYCOCK TATTOO! - NWAA member/urban artist Brad Turner and found object sculptor Brian Marshall show their unique brand of mechanical forms. This show will mark the FIRST TIME these local artists have shown together and it will not be the last! A reception will be held to meet the artists on Friday, July 9th from 5pm - 9pm. Browse or buy artwork from the featured artists, and enjoy appetizers while you mingle. The evening will include a raffle to win a $100 Poppycock gift certificate! Please join us in celebrating the July 2010 Art Loop.

"3rd Round Knock Out" - New work by Brad Turner at Red Mohawk Gallery (Solo Show)

After a long wait and as promised - I am very proud to announce that I will be having a solo show this April 2nd, 2010 at Red Mohawk Gallery!!! This show will be the culmination of months of long hours in the studio and will be apart of the Wilmington First Friday Art loop. I will be performing in a rare acoustic set and my good friends, M. Snail and One Party System featuring members "Faint of Heart will also take the stage." Public House of Wilmington has been more the generous and offered to host the after party!!! The details are coming together and more information will be available closer to the show! Please, be on the look out for more information!

I cannot wait because, I will be unveiling plenty of new work, as well as plenty of show exclusive T-shirts, Hoodies and Goodies will be available for purchase.

I will have many sizes this time and im taking pre-orders!

An Oldie But a Goodie! 2008 Recap!

During the Summer of 2008, yes 2008 I was invited to do a live painting event in a vacant store front in the 200 block of Market street, here in Wilmington DE. I have been doing some house cleaning of my archive and I though this would be a great recap! - Its never to late to show off old work. The wall was actually a cover up from a wall that my class painted as a demo. At the time, I was an adjunct Instructor at Delaware College of Art and Design. The name of the class was "Urban Expressionism" and art history of Graffiti and Street art. As you can see we used crappy paint and no caps but we made it happen! I taught a session on abstraction. And, this is what we came up with. I then painted over it about a week later and did this Live painting event as part of the July 2008 Wilmington Art loop. I have also included some images of some art that I showed during the event.
